P.R.A. visits ASU for Small Press Month

All participated in an afternoon panel discussion titled, Entrepreneurship
and the Future of Communications, at Comm Fest 2011 held in the Jaguar
Student Activity Center Ballroom on the Augusta State University campus. The
event, attended by the Communications
Department Faculty and student body, is an annual event highlighting
opportunities in various fields that a communications degree can be beneficial.
The event consisted of two parts. Part one was a panel discussion where
each member of the panel described what they do in their respective positions
and how technology has changed the speed and challenges faced in performing
their work. The second portion contained a round table discussion with each
panelist providing face-to- face time with students who had specific questions
for the professional fields represented. There was food, door prizes and
